Canada Visitor Visa

Canada welcomes you as a tourist, student or temporary worker. Every year, more than 5 million people visit Canada to enjoy the many opportunities our country has to offer. If you would like to come to Canada as a tourist, you may need to apply for a Visitor visa, or temporary resident visa.

As a general rule, a visitor visa is usually valid for a period of six months, and may be single or multiple entry. Applicants will need to prove that they have enough funds for their intended stay in Canada, and will return to their home country after their stay. Criminal and medical issues may prevent the granting of a visitor visa.
