Invited candidates, along with their spouses (or common-law partners) and dependent children, can immigrate to Canada within six (6) months. That is what the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship (IRCC) hopes to accomplish — if submissions are all completed. These 3,264 fortunate permanent resident applicants, with 441 or above Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), received Invitation to Apply (ITA) during the Express Entry draw held August 2.
The last Express Entry draw, which took place on July 12, was only one point lower. However, because of the three-week gap, more candidates were able to receive ITAs and were given a longer time to improve their scores.
This last draw increased the total number of ITAs issued to 122,596. What’s interesting is that 54,487 (almost 50%) of these were issued just this year. (Source: CIC News)
